Come along for FREE (via Zoom) to find out all about Using The Magic Coat to Support Children with Special Needs.
This FREE half hour Introductory Workshop, presented online by Di Wilcox, the Founder of the Magic Coat Program, is designed to give NDIS ECEI & LAC Partners and anyone working with families with children with special needs, an understanding of how the Program helps to teach social/emotional wellbeing strategies to children and prevent mental health issues, so that children become calmer, more confident and caring members of society.
Outcomes of the Magic Coat Program include:
- Improved resilience and preventative mental health strategies.
- Social education in how to manage friendships, bullying and family relationships.
- Improved literacy and life skills.
- Teaching children how to recognise and manage their emotions appropriately. For example, it is okay to be angry but you need to use strategies to manage that anger, so that you do not hurt yourself or another person.
